Based on the requests of BC value-added manufacturers, the BC Wood Japan Office will be organizing an all-new mission program that will put participants in-front of builders, architects, and developers working in booming Japanese ski resorts for one-on-one meetings. Especially for companies new to Japan, this mission will be the most cost-effective way to travel to different regions and learn about the resort markets while also building the relationships that are crucial to securing new business in these developments.
The program will include site visits to see customers and projects as well as three networking events where pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings will be held. Companies can expect to each have over 20 of these individual meetings which will be specifically chosen to meet their product offerings. This mission will run from February 24th through March 2nd , 2026.
Immediately following the resort mission, BC Wood will once again be organizing the Canadian Pavilion at the Nikkei Messe Architectural and Construction Materials Show from March 3rd through 6th in Tokyo. As always, BC Wood will help take the stress and uncertainty out of exhibiting at the show. We will assist with all the logistics required for setting up your display, including the design and the preparation of Japanese language marketing materials.
This is the biggest construction industry trade show in Japan, covering everything from lumber to finished products with over 200,000 industry visitors coming through over the four days. With such a great reach across Japan’s building products market, mission participants will benefit greatly by also being able to exhibit at this show on the same trip.
